Our Services

Implant Dentistry

  • Dental Implant Care: Replacing missing teeth is important to your general health and to the health of your other teeth.  Not only do you lose chewing ability when a tooth is lost, but unreplaced teeth can cause other teeth to be lost, tipped, or crowded and create subsequent problems.  Implants may be the right choice for anyone missing one or more teeth due to injury, disease, or decay.

Restorative Dentistry

  • Composite Fillings: Composite restorations are made of resins that are matched to your tooth’s color-so they become invisible when applied.  These fillings also provide an excellent seal on the affected area, so that tooth decay can be prevented.

  •  Crowns:  A crown is a restoration that covers (or “caps”) a tooth to restore it to its normal shape and size, which can strengthen and improve the appearance of the tooth.  Crowns are necessary when a tooth has been damaged significantly and cannot be adequately restored with a filling.

  •  Dentures: If you have missing teeth, a set of dentures is another type of treatment so that you can maintain a healthy smile.  Dentures are removable replacements made out of acrylic, resin, metal, and other materials and are custom-made to fit your mouth.

Preventive Dentistry

  • Comprehensive Examination:  Whether you are a new and existing patient, the doctors place strong value in customize and quality care.  That means spending the extra time reviewing your individuals needs to develop a comprehensive and thorough plan to treat your oral health

  • Routine Cleaning:  The dental hygienists at Abington Dental Care perform thorough dental cleanings, as well as teach you how to keep your smile healthy.  Your dental cleaning includes tartar/plaque removal and a polishing, which helps remove stains that are not eliminated during tooth brushing.

  • Sealants: A sealant is a resin material that is usually applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth-premolars and molars.  The sealant acts as a barrier, protecting enamel from plaque and acids.

  • Night Guard: It’s estimated that close to 20% of adults suffer from the grinding or clenching of their teeth, known as bruxism.  More often that not, stress is to blame for this condition.  But left untreated, cleaning and grinding will cause not only excessive teeth wear, but muscle fatigue in the face and neck.  At Abington Dental Care, we can fit you with a night guard that can protect your upper and lower teeth and lessen the damaging effects of clenching or grinding.

Cosmetic Dentistry

  • Veneers: One the most popular and effective developments in cosmetic dentistry are veneers. Veneers are thin, custom made casing that cover the front side of your teeth.  Veneers are used to correct uneven teeth, worn enamel, discoloration, chipped teeth and irregular spacing, and can last for over 20 years.  In some cases, veneers can serve as a restorative purpose and can protect a damaged tooth from further harm.

  • ZOOM! Whitening:  Imagine making your teeth eight shades whiter-in 45 minutes!  With the ZOOM! Whitening treatment, you can.  After having your teeth cleaned and examined, this safe and effective bleaching treatment is broken into three identical 15-minute segments, performed all in one session!

  • Invisalign: Instead of wires or bands attached to the outside of your teeth where the world can see them, Invisalign treatment utilizes cutting edge technology to prepare a series of clear plastic molds of your teeth during each stage of alignment.  The aligners are removable, making for easier eating, brushing, and flossing
